Burna Boy has adopted a new nickname, “Jean Béna Dieudonné,” after collaborating with Joé Dwèt Filé on the remix of ‘4 Kampé.’

 

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, has revealed a new nickname for himself. The singer announced his latest alias, “Jean Béna Dieudonné,” on Friday, after his collaboration with French-Haitian singer Joé Dwèt Filé.

On his X handle, Burna Boy shared the news with his fans, writing, “My name is now Jean Béna Dieudonné.”

The collaboration sees Burna Boy joining forces with Joé Dwèt Filé for the remix of the Haitian singer’s popular track, “4 Kampé.” In this remix, Burna Boy showcased his linguistic versatility by singing partly in French, adding a unique flavour to the song.

This is not the first time Burna Boy has adopted a new nickname. Over the years, he has been known by several other monikers, including Odogwu, Big 7, and El Major, further solidifying his status as an international music icon.
