Cubana Chief Priest Burna Boy feud

Cubana Chief Priest attributes his feud with Burna Boy to jealousy over his relationship with Davido, following a series of social media exchanges

Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has revealed that the ongoing feud between him and Afrofusion star Burna Boy is rooted in jealousy over his close relationship with singer Davido.

The two high-profile figures have been involved in heated exchanges on social media in recent weeks, with tensions escalating further after Burna Boy’s involvement in the arrest of fellow artist Speed Darlington.

Speaking on Channels Television’s *Rubbin Minds* on Sunday, Cubana Chief Priest shared his perspective on the conflict, explaining that Burna Boy’s actions were motivated by jealousy.

“My whole issue with Burna Boy started because he was jealous of my relationship with Davido,” he stated. “He wanted CP by his side, but I chose to work with Davido.”

Chief Priest also emphasised that his relationship with Davido was purely professional, with no discussions about Burna Boy.

“Me and Davido have never discussed anything about Burna Boy,” he added. “Davido isn’t the kind of person who would use his time to discuss his colleagues. It’s always them imagining things and trying to drag us.”

The feud between the two men began to intensify after Speed Darlington was arrested for suggesting that Burna Boy had an illicit relationship with American music executive Diddy, which he claimed was a tactic to win a Grammy.

Burna Boy’s involvement in the arrest has drawn further attention to the tensions between the socialite and the musician.
