Destiny Etiko Queeneth Hilbert lawsuit filed. Actress seeks N100 million for defamation after Hilbert accused her of stealing boyfriends

Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has taken legal action against fellow actress Queeneth Hilbert, filing a N100 million lawsuit for defamation. This action comes after Hilbert publicly accused Etiko of “snatching colleagues’ boyfriends.”

Queeneth Hilbert had made the allegations on social media, prompting a swift response from Etiko. Through her legal representatives, Etiko issued a petition demanding that Hilbert retract her defamatory claims and issue a public apology within 48 hours.

The cease-and-desist letter, signed by Chisom Onugah and C.C. Nwabundo, also demanded the payment of N100 million in damages. Destiny Etiko shared the letter on her Instagram page, categorically denying the accusations and alleging that Hilbert made the claims to gain material benefits.
