DJ Neptune shares his profound respect and admiration for the late Nigerian rapper Dagrin, highlighting his exceptional talent in a recent interview

Neptune recounted how Dagrin recorded his verse for their collaborative track “123 (Remix)” in an astonishingly short time.

“If there’s one artist I respect so much, it’s Da Grin,” Neptune stated. “When we recorded the remix of ‘123’, he delivered his verse in 8 minutes.”

This quick delivery clearly left a lasting impression on the experienced DJ.

Dagrin earned wide acclaim as one of Nigerian hip-hop’s most gifted rappers. His 2009 album, CEO, achieved significant commercial success.

This popularity grew even further after his tragic passing, solidifying his legacy in the genre.

DJ Neptune himself boasts a career spanning over a decade. He has become one of Nigeria’s most popular DJs, collaborating with numerous Afrobeats hitmakers.
