Nedu Wazobia has denied involvement in drugs and fraud following a viral leaked audio and a petition filed against him at foreign embassies

Popular Nigerian media personality, Nedu Wazobia, has publicly denied allegations linking him to hard drugs and fraudulent activities after a leaked audio sparked controversy online.

The audio, shared by social media critic VeryDarkMan, alleged Nedu’s involvement with individuals engaged in drug trafficking and fraud across Turkey, South Africa, and Morocco.

On Wednesday, 26 February 2025, VeryDarkMan escalated the situation by submitting a petition against Nedu at the embassies of Turkey, South Africa, and Morocco in Nigeria, demanding an investigation into the claims.

In response, Nedu took to his Instagram story to address the allegations, firmly denying any involvement in criminal activities.

“Hello everyone, this is not a joke anymore. I know nothing about that voice note going around. I did not make that voice note.

While this seems to be fun and games, I’ve never and will never be part of anything criminal,” he stated.
