Afrobeat star Davido has expressed his excitement for his white wedding with Chioma, set to take place in Miami in August 2025, following their traditional ceremony in June 2024.

Afrobeat superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has publicly expressed his excitement and anticipation for his upcoming white wedding with the love of his life, Chioma Rowland.

Davido made his feelings known through a caption on his Instagram page. The father of four shared a video of Chioma on his Instagram story, accompanied by the eager question, “Can August come already?”

The post quickly went viral, sparking widespread excitement among fans and social  users who are now dubbing it “the most anticipated celebrity wedding of the year.

Fans will recall that Davido and Chioma’s traditional wedding ceremony took place on June 25, 2024, at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos State.

In a previous interview with ‘The Breakfast Club’, a popular U.S. radio show, Davido had already confirmed the details of their white wedding. During that interview, he stated, “I am doing my white wedding in Miami in August this year.”
