Speaking on relationships, Eucharia Anunobi warned that some men deliberately mislead women with promises of marriage to exploit them.

She stressed the need for vigilance and self-respect, urging women to avoid decisions that could have lasting consequences.

“Engagement is not marriage. Male prostitutes, you are here; you will promise girls that you want to marry them, just because you want to use them,” she said.

She advised women not to yield to pressure or persuasion based solely on verbal assurances, insisting that serious intentions should be demonstrated through proper family involvement.

“Dear ladies, do not ever open your treasure for any man just because he says he wants to marry you. Let him come and meet your family members first,” she added.

Eucharia Anunobi emphasised that formal introductions remain an important step in establishing genuine commitment, noting that they provide a level of accountability often missing in casual relationships.
