Veteran Yoruba actress Faithia Balogun has shared an emotional account of her final interaction with late actor Adesina Okiki Oshin, popularly known as Janmole, shortly before his tragic death in a road accident in Oyo State.

The actor reportedly died on Monday, June 1, 2026, after being involved in a fatal crash, and was laid to rest according to Islamic rites the following day.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Faithia Balogun reflected on how the late actor supported one of her projects just days before his passing, describing the moment as one she never imagined would be their last.

According to her, Janmole had attended a meet-and-greet event for her movie on Saturday, an engagement that now carries deeper emotional weight following his sudden death.

She wrote: “Okikiola, You still did meet and greet for me on Saturday, I didn’t know that was the last time we were going to speak……. Allahu Akbar, Rest in peace.”

Her tribute has continued to resonate within the Yoruba film industry, where colleagues and fans have expressed shock over the loss of the actor, whose career had previously seen him survive a serious road accident in 2022.
