Funke Akindele blasts Kamo for crossing his boundaries and calls him rude after a ‘stupid joke’, sparking reactions on social media

In the trending clip, the Nollywood star could be seen confronting Kamo for overstepping his limits, clearly irritated by his behaviour.

“Don’t interfere with my job, I’m not joking with you. Please go away,” Akindele said angrily. “He is a very rude boy. He cracked one very stupid joke today and I don’t want to talk to him again. So, if you don’t see him on my Instablog videos, just know that I have sent him away. Very annoying brat.”

Kamo’s voice was heard in the background as he repeatedly apologised, saying, “Sorry ma, I’m sorry mummy.”

But Akindele dismissed the apology sharply, replying, “Who’s your mummy? We are not from the same state. Stupid boy.”

The confrontation has since generated intense debate on social media, with fans divided over whether Akindele’s reaction was justified or too harsh.

While some netizens defended her stance as a lesson in discipline and professionalism, others argued that the exchange could have been handled privately given their long-standing mentor–mentee relationship.

The incident marks a rare public fallout between the actress and Kamo, who has often credited Akindele for helping him rise in the entertainment industry.
