Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani on Thursday said he and others would help comedian and actor, John Okafor, popular known as Mr. Ibu to get back on his feet.

Mr Ibu had cried out for help on Wednesday from the hospital bed over an ailment that could lead to his leg being amputated.

Ibu, 63 had said: “I have been down for so many weeks; all I’m hoping for is your prayers and assistance. I’ve been in the hospital and still lie there as I speak.

“The medical director said in case his new idea didn’t work. The best idea is to cut off my leg; see me; where will I go if they cut off my leg? Please pray for me; I don’t want my leg to be amputated. God bless you.”
