Unveiling the five-day program at a press conference, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Umo Eno on Entertainment, David Sergeant (popularly known as Utang Akwa Ibom), said the theme for this year is “Arise: Elevate Your Dreams.”

He praised the governor’s unwavering support and vision for strengthening the state’s creative industry.

According to him, Ibom Entertainment Week 2025 will cement Akwa Ibom’s place as a hub for tourism, arts, and culture while boosting the local economy.

“The event will provide a platform for training, networking, and engagement of talents in the industry,” Sergeant said, noting its potential to create economic opportunities across hospitality, tourism, and service sectors.
