The achievement was announced by the actress on her Instagram page, where she reflected on her long-standing passion for counselling and emotional support.

The actress said her interest in therapy developed from a deep desire to help individuals who appear outwardly stable but struggle with internal emotional and mental challenges.

“Another degree in the bag. Counselling people has always come naturally to me. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing people heal, grow, and experience real transformation,” she said.

She explained that her personal experiences with pain and trauma shaped her decision to pursue professional training, noting that she wanted more than informal knowledge to support others effectively.

“I wanted the right training, wisdom, and tools to help people heal truly,” Olayode added, describing the journey as demanding but ultimately rewarding.

The Nollywood star expressed gratitude to God, her family, and colleagues for their support throughout the process, acknowledging moments when the rigorous programme nearly caused her to abandon the pursuit.

“Today, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude to God because I can now officially call myself a professional therapist and counsellor. The journey was not easy, but God carried me through,” she said.
