Juma Jux Detty December Fest: Tanzanian music star performs with wife Priscilla Ojo and Phyno in Lagos; festival runs until 31 December 2025

Tanzanian music star Juma Jux shared the stage with his wife, Priscilla Ojo, to headline the 2025 Detty December Fest, which kicked off in Lagos on Thursday night.

Juma Jux opened his performance with the hits Do I and God Design, collaborating with Nigerian rapper Phyno.

The event also featured supporting performances from Qing Madi, Kashope, Zeez, Mo’Believe, Broda Shaggi, and celebrity hype man Dotun.

The 2025 edition of Detty December Fest is scheduled to run until 31 December, with legendary American rapper Busta Rhymes headlining on 19 December and Gunna performing on 29 December.

The festival has become a major end-of-year music celebration, drawing international and Nigerian artists to Lagos for a series of high-energy performances.
