Kemi Afolabi shared an emotional message to her daughter after receiving a touching birthday surprise from the teenager

The Nollywood actress shared a video showing the moment her daughter, Dara, surprised her with gifts, leaving her visibly speechless and emotional.

Reflecting on motherhood, Afolabi said it felt like yesterday when she was buying diapers for her daughter, who is now old enough to buy birthday gifts for her.

The actress expressed gratitude to God for witnessing the special moment, describing Dara as the strongest 15-year-old she knows.

According to Afolabi, her daughter has continued to stand by her during difficult moments and periods of weakness.

“Dear daughter, just yesterday I was buying you diapers. Today you’re buying me birthday gifts. Absolutely no words to describe this feeling,” she wrote.

Afolabi also thanked her daughter for being brave, amazing and supportive, adding that she is happy doing life with her.
