Known professionally as Sidi or Kemity, she opened up about how she became a mother of two children by different men, a subject that has drawn online trolling over the years.

In a heartfelt appearance on the Talk to B podcast hosted by actress Biola Bayo, Kemity clarified the circumstances surrounding her family life. According to her, the experience was never intentional but rather a product of unfortunate and painful events.

“I was about to sit for my SSCE exam when I got pregnant. My mother insisted that I must continue my education before I could marry the man who got me pregnant,” she explained.

Her mother’s decision, though difficult at the time, ensured that Kemity did not forgo her future for a rushed marriage.

The tragedy struck when the father of her first child was murdered in Nigeria after returning from Malaysia. His death left her a young widow.

“The father of my first child was killed in a Nigeria hotel after he returned from Malaysia. He didn’t inform me or anyone when he came back to Nigeria.

I just received a call that he was found dead and when we got to the scene, we only saw 300 dollars with him. We believed the money he returned with was stolen before we got there,” she said.

This heartbreaking loss not only left her traumatised but also sparked the beginning of public judgement about her personal life. The Kemisola Apesin two fathers issue became a source of mockery rather than sympathy.

The actress faced trolls who questioned her morality, despite having no insight into her ordeal.

Years later, she met the father of her second child during a computer training programme. Their relationship progressed quickly, and they had a court wedding. Unfortunately, the marriage ended in heartbreak due to infidelity and superstitious manipulation.

She revealed that her second partner claimed an Alfa told him he would never be successful unless he separated from her. “I met the father of my second child when I was doing computer training.

I had a court wedding with him, but we started having misunderstanding over his extra marital affairs after I got pregnant for him. I later left him when he told me that his Alfa told him that he cannot be successful except he separates from me,” Kemity explained with pain in her voice.

The revelations have since gone viral, with fans expressing both support and criticism. While some sympathised with her journey, others reignited old biases about women with children from multiple relationships.

Kemisola’s courage in speaking up reflects a larger societal problem where women are often judged harshly for circumstances beyond their control.

The backlash she faced over the Kemisola Apesin two fathers narrative exemplifies the social stigma that surrounds non-traditional family structures, especially in African societies.

Her emotional confession has ignited a wider conversation about resilience, single motherhood, and the complexity of love and loss. Many supporters have praised her for standing tall despite public criticism, broken relationships, and personal grief.

Her story serves as a reminder that behind every decision and outcome lies a context often hidden from the public eye. While many may see just the headline, Kemity’s story urges people to look deeper before casting judgment.
