Lizzy Gold reveals Nollywood gossip caused her two-year fallout with Destiny Etiko, praises her colleague’s return and friendship

Lizzy Gold Destiny Etiko feud lasted two years due to rumours spread within the Nollywood movie industry, according to Lizzy Gold.

In an Instagram post celebrating Destiny Etiko’s birthday, Lizzy revealed that they stopped speaking after false narratives created a wedge between them.

“Two years ago, we separated as friends because of too many ‘them say’ in Nollywood,” Lizzy wrote. “I became lonely because I don’t make friends easily like you do. Thank God you realised you were deceived and came back to me.”

She praised Etiko’s sociable nature, describing her as one of the few people who truly understands her.

Lizzy said she admires her friend’s ability to connect with others effortlessly and urged her never to allow gossip to come between them again.

Addressing rumour mongers, Lizzy stated she has become immune to negativity and no longer has the energy for gossip. She prayed for blessings and protection over Etiko’s life.

“Destiny, you have a beautiful soul and I love you for who you are, imperfections and all,” she added. “Happy birthday to my friend, my hardworking colleague, my love.”
