Bimpe Akintunde childbirth has become a story of faith, resilience, and joy, as the Nollywood actress — fondly called Wasila Coded — welcomed her second child after nearly a decade.

In an emotional Instagram post, Bimpe revealed that her pregnancy was plagued by chronic low blood pressure, leading to multiple emergency hospital visits.

She even collapsed on set in February while filming The Return of Sambala in Ikorodu, but kept working, praying, and believing for a safe delivery.

On Thursday, July 17, she drove herself to the clinic for a routine check. By the next morning, she was in the delivery room. “Aya mi ja (my heart skipped),” she wrote, describing how her water broke unexpectedly and intense contractions began.

In less than three hours without surgery or complications she delivered her “precious gift from God” naturally, marking the fastest labor in her clinic this year. “Dear God, it can only be you… Alhamdulilai Robil Alameen,” she wrote, celebrating the miracle.

This marks her first child with husband Yousuph O. Ganiu, a U.S.-based movie producer. The couple’s romance began in May 2023, they married in June, and Bimpe joined his family as the third wife.

Just a day after delivery, she teased fans with a three-part post “A New Beginning… A Fresh Start… A New Chapter” before sharing a glowing maternity shoot in a flowing gown beside a vintage stroller.
