Mike Folarin reveals he was kissed by a fan without consent, stressing the importance of boundaries and respect between celebrities and fans

Actor Mike Folarin has opened up about a bizarre fan encounter, revealing that some female fans have kissed him without his consent.

Speaking in a recent interview with VJ Adams, Folarin described the experience as the most ridiculous he has faced in the entertainment industry.

He recounted an incident in a Lagos club where he was kissed by a fan without permission.

“Getting unsolicited kisses is the most ridiculous fan experience I have had. Yeah, getting kissed without my consent. It happened in Lagos, in a club. So, I guess everybody was intoxicated,” he said.

Folarin used the opportunity to emphasise the importance of consent, urging fans to always seek permission before engaging with celebrities.

“Consent is paramount,” he stressed, highlighting the need for respect and clear boundaries between fans and public figures.
