Autopsy report confirms Nollywood actor Odira Nwobu, 43, died from poisoning in South Africa, sparking confusion among fans and colleagues

The cause of death of Nollywood actor and skit maker Odira Nwobu has been revealed, weeks after his passing. The 43-year-old actor, who died in South Africa, was confirmed by an autopsy to have been poisoned.

Arthur Scott, Nwobu’s director, told reporters the findings have left him and the production team confused.

“We are yet to get the full report, but all of this is confusing because we can’t understand how he was poisoned,” he said.

Nwobu’s sudden death initially shocked fans and colleagues, many of whom said the actor had been in good health prior to his demise.
