Nollywood actor Mofe Duncan is grieving the death of his father, Josbert Thomas Kofi Duncan, who passed away on 10 March 2026.

The actor described the past week as overwhelming while expressing gratitude for the support he has received from fans, friends, and colleagues.

Duncan had earlier announced the sad news on his Instagram page, sharing his sorrow and reflecting on the comfort he finds knowing his father is at peace.

“Though my heart is broken, it smiles because I know the angels are watching over him,” he wrote.

In a follow-up post, the actor shared a photo of his late father and noted, “This week has been a blur.”

He also highlighted the emotional challenge of the period, acknowledging the difference between will and courage when facing profound loss.

Duncan praised the outpouring of messages, calls, and prayers, describing it as a “true testament to Daddy’s legacy.” He concluded: “I am truly grateful for every message, every call, every prayer. Truly, I am. JTK Duncan Oct 1931 – Mar 2026.”
