Oyo kidnapped teacher killing reaction as Kolawole Ajeyemi urges urgent action after abducted teacher Michael Oyedokun was killed by kidnappers

Nigerian actor Kolawole Ajeyemi has joined growing calls for urgent security intervention following the killing of abducted teacher Michael Oyedokun in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Outrage over killing of kidnapped Oyo teacher reaction comes after Oyedokun, a teacher at Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele, was reportedly killed by his abductors days after being taken during a violent attack on schools in the community.

Reports indicate that gunmen had invaded schools in Ahoro-Esinele, abducting teachers and pupils, an incident that has heightened fears over the safety of other victims still in captivity.

A video allegedly released by the kidnappers on Sunday showed the teacher tied up before his killing, with the footage later circulating on social media platforms.

Reacting on Instagram, Kolawole Ajeyemi, husband of actress Toyin Abraham, shared distressing visuals of some captives pleading for rescue and called for immediate intervention from authorities.

He appealed directly to Governor Seyi Makinde and President Bola Tinubu, urging urgent action to secure the release of remaining victims still held by the abductors.

The actor later reshared another video confirming the teacher’s death, describing the incident as deeply distressing and calling for intensified efforts to address insecurity in the region.

The attack, which occurred at Community Grammar School and LA School in Ahoro-Esinele, saw several teachers and pupils abducted, while one teacher was confirmed killed in captivity.

Governor Makinde has confirmed that seven teachers were abducted in the incident and stated that security agencies were working to rescue the remaining victims.

The Inspector General of Police has also visited affected communities and directed intensified rescue operations as authorities continue efforts to secure the release of abductees.
