Opeyemi Falegan, the ex-partner of Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing, has volunteered to satisfy one of the bail conditions of controversial media personality, Blessing Okoro.

Recall that Blessing was remanded in prison by a Federal High Court in Lagos for alleged cyberbullying, libel, and exhibiting uncensored movies.

She was granted bail in the sum of N10 million with two sureties in the same amount. However, due to her inability to meet the bail conditions, she has allegedly been held in jail for the past two weeks.

In response to Blessing Okoro’s plight, Nkechi Blessing’s ex-boyfriend Opeyemi has offered to be one of the sureties so that she can be granted bail.

He took to his Instagram page to express his desire to help Blessing Okoro and asked whether he could be her surety despite being in America.

He posted a photo of Blessing and wrote,

“On her bail conditions, can someone outside the country be her surety? Even though I never supported all she said but 2 wrongs don’t make a right.
But I think it seems her bail conditions are a bit hard to please but can someone outside the country be her surety? it seems I tick some boxes on those bail conditions, any lawyer in the house pls ? pls read carefully before u insult me. ( na peace maker I won bi) really hard to see a woman been in prison for her misuse of words but I get fans wey dey insult me on daily basis.”
