I didn’t hijack Easter Sunday date from you, AY Comedian fires back at colleague, Julius Agwu, threatens lawsuit

Popular Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun, otherwise known as AY, has responded to allegations made against him by his colleague Julius Agwu in a recent interview.

During the interview with Naija FM a few days ago, Julius Agwu accused AY of hijacking his Easter Sunday date for his show.

He recalled calling AY to request a rescheduling of his yearly Easter Sunday comedy show, AY Live, because it coincided with his own event, Laugh for Christ’s Sake.

According to him, Easter Sunday was the day he held his Laugh for Christ’s Sake comedy show for years, and he was surprised that AY chose the same date for his show.

He claimed AY blatantly refused and hung up on him.

Reacting to the accusations, in a lengthy post on his Instagram page, AY, with proof, denied hijacking the date from Julius Agwu and threatened to take legal action against him.

“The truth remains the only ultimate power to downplay all the lies in a place where the INTERNET NEVER FORGETS. Dear senior colleague Julius Agwu, my question is, how is it even possible to lay claims to the fact that i took over your Easter Sunday date with the following verifiable facts..

In a now-viral video shared on his Instagram page, Lege Miami claimed that there are distinct rules for men and women when it comes to cheating within the marital bond, asserting that men possess the right to be unfaithful, while women do not.

According to Lege Miami, any single woman who is unable to accept the possibility of a cheating husband is fundamentally unprepared for marriage.

In the contentious video, Lege Miami also stated, “Any married woman who puts a password on her phone is a prostitute. Do you want to argue that because your husband’s phone has a password, you should also do the same? You are not ready for marriage. You can pack your load and leave the house. As a relationship expert, I will say that to you.”

He further elaborated on his controversial stance, saying, “Your husband can cheat, but as a woman, you don’t have the right to cheat. If you want to be a good and responsible wife, tolerate your cheating husband.”

Lege Miami’s outspoken and unconventional views have predictably triggered a wave of mixed reactions across social media platforms, with a significant number of individuals vehemently disagreeing with his assertions and criticizing his perspective on marital fidelity and gender roles within a marriage.
