This achievement underscores his growing global popularity and the increasing appetite for Afrobeats music.

However, Rema is not the only Nigerian artist making significant waves on the platform. Grammy Award winner Burna Boy claimed the second position with a substantial 171 million streams.

The anticipation surrounding his upcoming eighth studio album, ‘No Sign of Weakness’, is likely contributing to his continued strong performance.

Rising star Ayra Starr, known for her hit tracks, secured third place with a total of 169 million streams.

Fellow Afrobeats heavyweights Davido and Wizkid also featured prominently in the top five, ranking fourth and fifth with 113 million and 102 million streams respectively.
