“You can never catch me on or off camera saying I’m not a nepo baby,” she said.

Her comment reflects a growing global conversation around so-called “nepo babies”, a term used to describe individuals who benefit from family influence or established networks in their careers.

Temi maintained that acknowledging privilege does not diminish personal effort but instead encourages transparency and self-awareness in public discussions about success.

Her statement has since sparked reactions online, with many users praising her openness while others debated the role of privilege in creative and entertainment industries.

She added that it is more constructive for individuals to be honest about their starting point rather than attempt to present a narrative that ignores their background advantages.
