Temitope Solaja cosmetic surgery was done for confidence, not to please men. She says it helped align her body with her fashion style and boosted her self-worth

Temitope Solaja cosmetic surgery journey is about self-love and confidence, not external validation. The Nollywood actress has revealed that her decision to undergo a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) and dental work was entirely personal.

In a recent interview with Biola Bayo, Solaja said, “I didn’t fix my body because of any man. I love fashion. I love to dress up. I had a big stomach and a small stature. My body didn’t align with my style.

That’s why I did liposuction with BBL. I wanted to feel better in my own skin.”

She added that the results have made her feel more beautiful and assured. “I was beautiful before, but now I feel even more confident. People say I look good online and in person. I appreciate it.”

Solaja also shared why she fixed her teeth, saying, “I smile a lot. I wanted my smile to reflect how I feel inside.”

While addressing social media backlash, she recalled being mocked for a grammar mistake in one of her films. “I said ‘Why did you sold me out?’ instead of ‘Why did you sell me out?’” she said.

“It hurt because we forgive people who make mistakes in Yoruba, but drag those who mess up in English. And English isn’t even our language.”
