Blessing Obasi-Nze reveals the challenges she faced before marrying Stan Nze, including age-gap concerns and public opinions

Nollywood actress Blessing Obasi-Nze has revealed the challenges she faced before marrying actor Stan Nze, particularly surrounding their age difference.

The actress opened up in an interview with media personality Tope Olowoniyan on Thursday in Lagos.

Blessing disclosed that many people advised Stan against the marriage, citing concerns that her age could affect their ability to have children. Despite external pressures, Stan remained steadfast in his decision to marry her.

Reflecting on their journey, Blessing recounted moments when she supported Stan through early struggles, including sacrifices made during his lean years.

She described his surprise Mother’s Day gesture as deeply moving and a reminder of the strength of their relationship.

“Marrying my husband has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I remember people told him not to marry me because I was older, but he didn’t listen,” Blessing said.

“They even said I might reach menopause without giving birth, yet he still chose me. Through it all, he remembers the ways I supported him when he had nothing and the sacrifices I made for him. I will choose my husband today, tomorrow, and forever.”

Blessing and Stan Nze, who are now parents, remain open about their love story and the resilience that helped them overcome societal scrutiny and personal doubts.
