Toke Makinwa Marriage Proposals: Media personality inundated with offers after saying she’d consider being a second or fifth wife. Warns suitors about her work inbox

Popular Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa, has spoken out about the surge of marriage proposals she has received following her recent viral interview where she expressed openness to marrying again, even as a second, third, fourth, or fifth wife.

Makinwa’s earlier comments sparked considerable discussion online. In the interview, she candidly shared her evolving perspective on marriage, stating, “In all honesty, at this point in my life, if I have the opportunity to be the second, third, fourth, or fifth wife, I will take it. I am the boss everywhere and that could be tiring. You feel like you need someone to lean on, someone that could decide what’s for dinner. Must it be me?”

Following the widespread attention her remarks garnered, Toke Makinwa took to social media to acknowledge the influx of proposals from admirers and potential suitors.

However, she issued a cautionary note, reminding them that the inbox where these proposals were likely being sent is her work inbox, which is accessible to her team members.

This statement suggests that while Makinwa is aware of the increased interest in her marital status, she is also maintaining a professional boundary and implying that these informal proposals may not directly reach her.

Her openness about considering multiple-wife arrangements has clearly resonated with a segment of the population, leading to this notable response.
