Toyin Abraham responded to the allegation in a statement shared online, clarifying that she had no involvement in any such action and was occupied with filming at the time the claim surfaced.

“Arrest Ayo as how, please this is fake and false news. I’m on set filming. Please kindly disregard. I didn’t get Ayo or anyone arrested; it’s all love from me,” Toyin Abraham said, urging those circulating the report to take it down.

Allegations of Arrest Against Toyin Abraham gained traction after a now-deleted post by an X user identified as Khan claimed that Big Ayo had “allegedly been arrested again” on the actress’s orders.

The post quickly drew attention and reignited debate surrounding her previous stance on online harassment.

The controversy is linked to a July 2024 incident when Toyin Abraham pursued legal action against individuals accused of cyberbullying her.

At the time, another X user, Jeffery, alleged that the actress had orchestrated the arrest of his mother over social media comments, a claim she later refuted.

Toyin Abraham clarified during that period that it was not Jeffery’s mother who was arrested but his associate, Big Ayo, whom she accused of persistently targeting her with abusive and defamatory posts, including remarks about her family.

Reports from the earlier case indicated that Big Ayo was detained by law enforcement following complaints of cyberbullying and defamation tied to offensive content allegedly shared online.
