Three people were confirmed dead while an unspecified number of worshippers were abducted during a church programme in Eruku, Ekiti LGA, Kwara State, on Tuesday evening.

The tragedy occurred just hours after 25 secondary school girls were kidnapped in Kebbi State on Monday, 17 November 2025.

Reacting on her Instagram page, the actress described the situation as heartbreaking and expressed deep concern for the nation’s security.

“How do we move past the heaviness in our hearts after watching the heartbreaking video of the attack in Kwara? How does any mother close her eyes at night knowing that 25 young girls have been stolen from their families, girls who should be safe, laughing, learning, dreaming?” she asked.

Abraham highlighted the emotional toll of terrorism on families and communities, saying, “As mothers, we carry a kind of fear that sits deep in our bones. When we hear of such violence, it is not just news to us, it is a wound.”

She condemned religious extremism and terrorism, warning that these acts are undermining safety, childhood, and peace.

“So how do we confront a world where innocent souls are kidnapped and killed in the name of hatred? How do we protect our children when cruelty seems to move without fear or consequence?” Abraham questioned.
