Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has unveiled a new look after undergoing a facial rejuvenation procedure, saying she chose to improve aspects of her appearance that she felt could be enhanced.

Ogbodo revealed the change on her Instagram page, where she explained her decision to undergo the cosmetic treatment and shared her view that people should feel free to change features they are unhappy with.

The actress said she had always loved her face and herself but believed there was nothing wrong with making changes where she felt improvement was possible.

“I got me a new face! Because I can!” Ogbodo said.

She added that she preferred taking action rather than complaining about aspects of her appearance that she had the ability to change.

“I love my face, I love myself, but babes… we can always upgrade!” she said.

Ogbodo disclosed that her facial rejuvenation involved **threads, fillers and PDO**, describing the treatment as a non-surgical approach to lifting the face, restoring volume and reducing the appearance of lines.

She said the procedure was intended to give her a fresher and more youthful appearance while avoiding surgery.

“I had Threads + Fillers + PDO done to lift, restore volume, smooth out lines and give me that fresh, youthful, well-rested look, without surgery!” she said.

The actress’s decision has since attracted attention online, with social media users offering contrasting reactions to her transformation.

Some followers applauded Ogbodo for being open about her cosmetic treatment and embracing a change she wanted for herself.

Others, however, criticised the decision and questioned the increasing use of cosmetic procedures among public figures.

Ogbodo has previously spoken publicly about cosmetic procedures and beauty choices, making her latest disclosure part of a broader conversation around appearance, ageing and personal confidence in the entertainment industry.

Her latest post nevertheless presents the decision as a personal one, with the actress making clear that she was comfortable with her appearance before choosing to make changes.
