Nollywood actress Obey Etok Chima has sadly experienced the loss of her father, occurring just hours before the scheduled burial of her husband.

Taking to her social media platforms, the actress shared the heartbreaking news of her father’s passing.

On Facebook, Obey revealed that her father departed in the early hours of Thursday morning, lamenting the timing as it coincided with the eve of her husband’s funeral.

Expressing her grief, she wrote, “What a tragedy, 2024. I just lost my dad early hours of yesterday 11th April. Just a day to bury my husband. It is well.”

Via her Instagram account, Obey further reflected on the sorrowful happenings, describing the loss of her father as “another blow” amidst the already sorrowful occasion of her husband’s burial.

“Another blow on me. I just lost my dad and I am burying my husband today. It is well oo,” she penned.
