The actor suggested that infidelity should be approached with compassion rather than anger alone, arguing that couples must first focus on healing before addressing the emotional fallout within the relationship.

He explained that when a partner cheats, the response should begin with understanding and an attempt to help the person overcome the behaviour, rather than immediately centring only on personal pain.

According to him, genuine love requires a broader perspective that looks beyond self-interest, especially when dealing with difficult situations such as betrayal in marriage.

Daniel Etim-Effiong said the priority should be finding ways to resolve the underlying issue, describing infidelity as a problem that requires emotional and behavioural correction before reconciliation can be considered.

He added that couples should work together through the process of recovery, stressing that healing must come before rebuilding the relationship.

The actor maintained that love is not self-seeking and urged individuals in relationships to consider a more balanced and solution-driven approach when faced with infidelity.
