Don Jazzy marriage sacrifice revealed as producer admits he never expected to hit his 40s unmarried despite his success in shaping Nigerian music

Speaking on the Echo Podcast, the 42-year-old Mavin Records boss said while he has no regrets about his career journey, marriage was perhaps the one area of life he unconsciously let slip.

“I never thought I’d be in my 40s and not married. Maybe that’s the one I lost along the way. If it comes, it comes. If it doesn’t, I’m totally fine,” Don Jazzy said.

The hitmaker, who has nurtured the careers of stars such as Tiwa Savage, Rema, and Ayra Starr, reflected that his passion would always revolve around music regardless of whether he ran a record label.

Despite the sacrifices, Don Jazzy stressed that he remains fulfilled with his achievements and the impact he continues to make in shaping African entertainment.
