The netizen, identified as @OriretanHonour on X, argued that the actress’s choice might deter potential suitors. He wrote, “Funke, it’s unwise to still wear a ring on your marriage finger knowing you’re divorced.

Even worse, it might chase away your future husband. Little things count now that you’re still famous, hot, and rich. Mind your public acts. Remove the ring now. You need a man in your life ASAP. Act fast. Be wise.”

In a succinct response, Akindele dismissed the concern, stating, “I need money! That’s the koko.”

The actress, who has been married and divorced twice, has often faced scrutiny over her personal life. Her first marriage to Mr. Oloyede in 2012 ended in divorce a year later due to irreconcilable differences.

In 2022, her second marriage to music producer JJC Skillz ended after the couple welcomed twins together.

In a previous interview with Wazobia FM, Akindele addressed her marital history, emphasising that being divorced twice does not define her as a failure.

She continues to focus on her career and financial independence, inspiring fans with her resilience and dedication.
