May Yul-Edochie faces backlash after former lawyer Emeka Ugwuonye posts alleged private chats, escalating tensions in her divorce dispute with Yul Edochie

May Yul-Edochie, estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, is embroiled in a fresh controversy with her former lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, after he released private conversations he allegedly had with her regarding her divorce proceedings.

Ugwuonye shared screenshots on Facebook on Friday, claiming he provided guidance and premium support to May during the legal process, only to be betrayed.

He described her as dishonest and manipulative, warning that further evidence could be made public to damage her reputation.

“If you see the chats between us, you will understand how fake May is and what a terrible liar she is.

All those who believe her are just pitiable,” Ugwuonye wrote, asserting that he had guided her on court schedules to ensure her case proceeded efficiently.

The conflict comes shortly after May, through her legal firm Graylaw Partners, issued a cease-and-desist notice against Ugwuonye. The notice accuses him of cyberbullying, defamation, and cyberstalking via malicious posts targeting her.
