Grace Agbo gives succour to indigent

Beautiful Nollywood actress Grace Agbo has celebrated her promotion to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Fire1 (ASF1) at the Federal Fire Service by sending gift items to the less privileged.

Agbo secured a job as a firefighter because of her passion to save lives and help those in danger.

The Idoma born actress has featured in many films that include ‘Black Out,’ ‘Mr Potosky,’ ‘Lost Pride,’ ‘Deadly Desire,’ ‘Palace of Sorrow,’ ‘Ada-Ide-Ichaka,’ ‘Haunted Palace,’ ‘Village Don,’ ‘The Calabash’ amongst others.

She said she remained in Nollywood despite being a firefighter.

In a brief chat, she said, “I took up an appointment in Federal Fire Service in 2019 while still in Nollywood as a result of the passion I have for the job. Being a firefighter has given me the opportunity to contribute to society by teaching people how to prevent fire and the things to do when there is a fire outbreak. I have reached out to millions of people through social media and visited organisations, schools, and other agencies alongside my Special Duty unit team from the headquarters.”

On her new role, she said her new role will her to do more.

“Special duty unit is a unit under Inspectorate, Investigation and Enforcement (IIE) department which is saddled with the responsibility of inspecting buildings to see the level of their fire safety compliance, carry out training, excursion, issue fire certificate amongst other functions.”
