Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has spoken candidly about her strained relationship with fellow screen star Genevieve Nnaji, revealing that she is still unsure what led to the breakdown of their friendship.

Speaking on the Tea with Tay podcast, Kate Henshaw reflected on how their once-close bond faded over time, suggesting that they may have simply grown apart or that mistrust could have played a role.

“We grew apart. Maybe she had some kind of mistrust about me… I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what came over her,” she said.

The actress emphasised that she remains uncertain about the exact cause of the fallout, noting that the change in their relationship happened gradually without a clear turning point.

Kate Henshaw had previously commented on Genevieve Nnaji’s reserved personality, suggesting that her quiet nature sometimes leads to misunderstandings among colleagues.

Over the years, Genevieve Nnaji has remained one of Nollywood’s most admired figures, with several industry colleagues publicly expressing admiration for her talent, elegance and influence.
