Nollywood actor Linc Edochie confirms he won’t reunite with ex-wife Yinka Theisen, following her public declaration of “true love never dies” on Instagram

Nollywood actor Linc Edochie has made it unequivocally clear that he will not be reuniting with his estranged wife, Yinka Theisen, regardless of her recent public expressions of affection.

The actor, who is also the elder brother of controversial filmmaker Yul Edochie, issued a firm “Never again. End of story” response after a fan urged him not to rekindle his relationship with Yinka.

This statement comes just hours after Yinka Theisen shared a nostalgic, loved-up photo of herself and Linc on Instagram, accompanied by the caption “True love never dies.”

The post sparked fresh speculation about a possible reconciliation between the pair, who tied the knot in June 2025.

However, Linc’s blunt response puts those speculations to rest.

The drama between Linc Edochie and Yinka Theisen has escalated in recent weeks, especially following Yinka’s public support for Yul Edochie and Judy Austin.

Her alignment with the controversial couple did not sit well with supporters of May Edochie, Yul’s first wife, who has garnered widespread sympathy amid her ongoing marital saga.

In a statement last month, Linc distanced himself from Yinka, clarifying that he did not approve of her actions—particularly the online attacks against May Edochie, and the leaking of private phone numbers allegedly linked to the Edochie family.

“It’s better to be alone and at peace than to be in a union filled with landmines,” Linc stated at the time, making it clear that his mental peace takes precedence over public perceptions or marital pressure.

Yinka, however, didn’t take the dismissal lightly. In a follow-up post, she accused Linc of throwing her under the bus due to fear of backlash.

She expressed disappointment that someone she loved deeply would choose to humiliate her publicly instead of resolving matters privately.

Her response was emotional: “Keep laughing at me. He cowardly embarrassed me on social media, so I will respond in kind.”

In her first interview since the fallout, Yinka further fueled the controversy by alleging that her treatment by the Edochie family was motivated by tribal bias.

As a Yoruba woman, she claimed to have been scapegoated and wrongfully accused of leaking the phone numbers of the eldest Edochie sibling and another unnamed family member.

She also made serious allegations against Rita Edochie, claiming the veteran actress pretends to support May Edochie while allegedly instigating conflict behind the scenes.

These claims have added yet another layer of tension to an already volatile situation involving one of Nollywood’s most talked-about families.

Despite the emotional appeals and online drama, Linc Edochie’s stance remains unchanged. By publicly asserting that he will never return to Yinka, the actor has drawn a firm boundary, perhaps hoping to end the media frenzy that has followed their split.

Fans of the Edochie family remain divided. While some applaud Linc for choosing peace and accountability, others believe both parties have handled the separation too publicly.

Regardless of the noise, one message is clear: Linc Edochie has closed the chapter on his relationship with Yinka Theisen, and no amount of sentimental posts or social media declarations will change that.
