Speaking during a podcast with fellow actress Bimbo Akintola, Lolo 1 explained that she values honesty and fairness in relationships, insisting that open polygamy is more respectable than deceit.

“I would rather a man be polygamous than for him to be married and have a side-chick. That’s the one I would not contend with,” she said.

She argued that polygamy at least gives co-wives a sense of fairness and transparency, unlike “side-chick culture,” which thrives on secrecy and emotional betrayal.

In response, Bimbo Akintola shared her own perspective, noting that the idea of keeping mistresses became common when men were pressured to marry women seen as “wife material” instead of those they truly loved.

Both actresses agreed that honesty and openness are key to maintaining healthy relationships.
