“There was a time I had a fuse so short it could set everything ablaze. I mistook my pain for strength, but it was only destroying me,” Dikeh revealed.

She said true healing began only after she surrendered her life completely to God, allowing Him to replace her rage with calm and compassion.

The actress also revealed that she once battled depression and suicidal thoughts, recalling how she lived for years “as both the wound and the weapon.”

“Depression was my companion; I wore pain like a second skin until God said, ‘Rise,’ and I did,” she wrote.

Tonto explained that her healing journey has made her more empathetic and less judgmental toward others who are struggling.

“When I see people acting from a place of pain, I don’t condemn them; I pray for them. I know how it feels to lose yourself while trying to survive,” she noted.

The actress further disclosed that she has turned away from sexual immorality and now embraces celibacy as part of her renewed commitment to God.

Reflecting on her past, she said she had once given her life to Christ after secondary school but later drifted away from faith.

“I gave my life to Christ after secondary school but took His love for granted. Life humbled me, and through that pain, I returned to my first love, God,” she said.
