Kwam1’s mother passed away on January 18, 2025, and was laid to rest on the same day according to Islamic tradition. In a recent interview on Agbaletu Radio with On Air Personality Bamidele Adeyanju, Kwam1 expressed his anger and recounted the significant support he provided to Kollington when his own mother passed away.

“I joined hands with him to bury his own mother. I supported him to give his mother a befitting burial. I brought many dignitaries to the burial including governors, and I handled all the finances 100%,” Kwam1 stated, highlighting the extent of his support for his mentor during his time of loss.

Expressing his deep disappointment, Kwam1 accused Kollington of repaying his kindness with indifference. “See how he paid me back.

What could have happened after everything I did for him? He was in Nigeria, hale and hearty when my mom passed away, and the only excuse he could give was that he called, and I didn’t pick. Am I not supposed to be angry?” he questioned.

Kwam1’s public expression of hurt reveals a potential rift between two prominent figures in Nigerian Fuji music, raising questions within the music industry and among fans about the state of their relationship.
