Sammy Daniels, brother of Regina Daniels, has been granted bail, sparking celebrations among family and fans after days in police detention

Sammy Daniels, brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has reportedly been granted bail following several days in police detention.

Videos circulating on social media captured the Daniels family celebrating the release. In one clip, Sammy’s mother, Rita Daniels, is seen rejoicing alongside actress Mercy Johnson, the family lawyer, and relatives recording the moment.

“After consulting the gods, the gods did well. The gods did it,” Rita Daniels exclaimed as cheers erupted.

The family also expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their prayers and support, ending their celebration with the phrase “Victoria Asata” to signify their victory.

Sammy’s detention reportedly stemmed from allegations connected to the ongoing dispute between Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. Earlier reports suggested he was arrested over claims involving harassment and intimidation.

While his release offers temporary relief for the family, tensions surrounding Regina Daniels and Nwoko’s troubled marriage continue to draw public attention.
