She described the production as a “masterpiece” and encouraged audiences to watch it, emphasising the profound lessons embedded in its narrative.

Behind The Scenes, a 2025 Nigerian film co-directed by Funke Akindele and Tunde Olaoye, follows the life of Aderonke “Ronky-Fella” Faniran, a successful real estate entrepreneur whose generosity becomes a burden as increasing demands from family and friends begin to strain her personal life.

The film premiered in cinemas nationwide on December 12, 2025, before making its streaming debut on Netflix on April 3. Its release also generated significant attention on Kava TV, where a surge in viewership reportedly disrupted the platform temporarily.

Featuring a star-studded cast that includes Funke Akindele, Scarlet Gomez, Tobi Bakre, Uzor Arukwe, Ini Dima-Okojie, Iyabo Ojo, Mr Macaroni, Destiny Etiko, Ibrahim Chatta and Victoria Adeyele, the film continues to resonate with audiences for its compelling storytelling and emotional depth.
