Kwam 1 airport incident draws backlash as activist Verydarkman accuses the singer of endangering lives and disrupting flights at Abuja’s international airport

Kwam 1 airport incident has sparked controversy as Nigerian social media activist Verydarkman publicly criticized the legendary fuji musician for allegedly endangering lives at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

In a video posted on Friday via Instagram, Verydarkman whose real name is Vincent Otse Martins condemned Kwam 1’s decision to stand in front of a moving aircraft, reportedly disrupting normal flight operations.

“I respect Kwam 1 as a music legend and father figure, but truth must be told. In an advanced country, he would have been detained for risking his life and others on that plane,” the activist stated.

He warned of potential dangers, including the risk of Kwam 1 being struck by the plane’s propeller or causing a collision while the pilot tried to maneuver around him.

According to Verydarkman, the stunt could have delayed scheduled flights, thereby disrupting crucial plans for passengers, including medical appointments and time-sensitive opportunities.

“Flight operations are all about timing. One person’s reckless behavior can ruin life-changing plans for others,” he added.

The Kwam 1 airport incident allegedly stems from the musician’s refusal to follow airport security protocols before boarding.

The incident has drawn widespread attention and raised questions about celebrity conduct and enforcement of safety regulations.
