He firmly rejected the claims, stating that those who continue to assert he didn’t earn his win were simply “not wise.” Kellyrae also stressed that personal disagreements or bad terms with someone should not be used as a basis to undermine their achievements.

“I’ve heard the comments and I just think that anyone who insists I didn’t deserve to win is not wise,” Kellyrae stated on the podcast. “Being on bad terms with someone or not liking them doesn’t make their success any less valid.”

The debate surrounding Kellyrae’s win gained traction after fellow BBNaija participants, including Shaun, publicly expressed the opinion that Kellyrae’s contribution to the show was minimal.

Odumodublvck prioritises impact

Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck emphasises his focus on creating impact rather than chasing fame in the music industry, redefining success

Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has revealed that fame is not a driving force in his music career. Speaking during an episode of Hip TV’s Trending, the artist shared his unconventional perspective on success, stating that his primary goal is to make a meaningful impact.

“I have never tried to be famous,” Odumodublvck explained. “The way people say they want fame or money—it’s never been about that for me.

When I started my music career, I only thought about doing nice stuff and impacting people with it.”

The rapper, whose breakout hit Picanto featuring Ecko Miles and Zlatan Ibile gained him significant attention in 2022, highlighted that promoting his music naturally brought visibility.

However, he distinguishes between this type of fame and the stereotypical idea of being “rich and famous.”

“Promoting myself equates to being famous, but that kind of fame is different from the TV’s ‘rich and famous.’ I have never bought into that context,” he added.

Odumodublvck’s artistry has not gone unnoticed. In March 2023, his hit single Declan Rice cemented his position in the industry, and it gained international recognition when Arsenal Football Club used the track to announce their signing of the player Declan Rice in July 2023.
