In an emotional Instagram post, the Jenifa’s Diary star confessed that her decision to stay pure is not because she lacks human desires but because of her deep love and reverence for God.

“Sometimes when people talk to me about sex and purity, I wonder if they think I don’t have blood flowing in my veins,” she wrote. “It’s not that I don’t have these feelings; it’s just that more than anything, I love and honour God—and I hate to hurt Him.”

The actress revealed that her faith-based conviction influences her professional choices, shaping the kind of roles she accepts and the endorsement deals she considers.

She admitted that the decision to turn down lucrative offers often leaves her feeling misunderstood or excluded from the industry’s glamorous opportunities.

“I’m not the most holy person, and I am not without sin,” Olayode admitted. “But I do my best every day to choose God over my feelings, over my career, over money, and over the next blockbuster.

It’s not easy—I feel very stupid sometimes saying ‘no’ to some deals or walking away from the next big project.”

Olayode also spoke about her personal life, assuring fans that she remains hopeful about finding a compatible partner who shares her values.

“Those who genuinely worry if I’ll get a good man or if he’ll wait till marriage—I appreciate the concern. The God I know gives the best gifts,” she said confidently.

“God brought me here; tomorrow He might want me somewhere else. In all, I know He’s a rewarder, and even if He doesn’t, I’ll still be here—grateful for the journey and His grace,” she wrote.
