In a video shared on Instagram, Kate Henshaw questioned the motive behind attending parties without formal invitations, describing the behaviour as rude and unnecessary.

Kate Henshaw also criticised individuals who receive single-entry invitations but arrive with additional guests without prior approval from the host.

“I want to ask those of you who show up uninvited at events and parties, what’s your purpose? What do you aim to achieve?” she said.

The actress warned that such actions undermine event planning and show a lack of self respect, adding that she would not tolerate such conduct at her own gatherings.

“Respect yourself enough to stay away from places you aren’t invited to. It’s rude, you’re a gate crasher,” she added in a firm tone.

The strong message has sparked conversation on social media, with many users debating etiquette and social norms around invitations and public events.

Beyond this issue, Kate Henshaw has remained vocal on social matters. During the trial of Natasha Akpoti, she publicly commended the lawmaker for challenging narratives that portray women as weak or limited in societal roles.

The actress has also addressed lifestyle choices among young women, warning against risky decisions after reacting to a viral claim that prioritised relationships with internet fraudsters over legitimate careers.

Kate Henshaw has previously faced backlash over her outspoken views, including reactions to her Father’s Day message, where she celebrated responsible fathers specifically.

Responding to critics at the time, she maintained that her platform allows her to express personal opinions freely, adding that public criticism does not affect her stance.
