In a heartfelt message, the guild expressed solidarity, saying: “Words may never truly capture the depth of grief that comes with losing a loved one. On behalf of the entire AGN family, we share in your pain and mourn with you.”

Chinda, a veteran Nollywood actress and former Director of Communications for the guild, has faced multiple personal losses in recent years.

In 2025, she lost her mother, whom she described as her pillar, and shared tributes thanking colleagues and friends for their support.
