Nigerian Stars Dominate 2025 Trendupp Awards Nomination List

Nigerian celebrities including Tunde Onakoya, Bimbo Ademoye, and Regina Daniels lead nominations for the 2025 Trendupp Africa Awards celebrating online influence

Some of Nigeria’s top celebrities and digital content creators have been nominated for the 2025 edition of the Trendupp Africa Awards.

The Trendupp Awards, which recognise influencers, brands, organisations, and content creators making outstanding contributions to society through social media, continue to spotlight excellence in Africa’s digital landscape.

According to DAILY POST, among the prominent nominees are chess champion and activist Tunde Onakoya, actresses Bimbo Ademoye, Ruth Kadiri, Nancy Isime, Omoni Oboli, Regina Daniels, and Kie Kie.

Other recognised figures include Priscilla Ojo, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, comedian Sabinus, Taaooma, Brain Jotter, Peller, Cubana Chief Priest, and food content creator Opeyemi Famakin.

The judging panel for this year’s awards features celebrated photographer Kelechi Amadi Obi, media strategist Sam Onyemelukwe, Ghanaian journalist Ameyaw Debrah, and Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo.

The Trendupp Awards celebrate excellence in digital influence and innovation across Africa,” organisers stated.
